Information Text Regarding Security Cameras Located in the Service Area

This clarification text has been prepared by Prof. Dr. Ruhi Nalçacı, acting as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. It aims to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, legal grounds, collection methods, to whom it may be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK.

A total of 16 security cameras are used to record images at the building entrance, clinic entrance, corridors, examination rooms, kitchen, balcony, waiting area, server room entrance, and reception desk to ensure the security of our service area. The recording process is monitored by the data controller.

Your personal data is processed automatically based on the legal basis outlined in Article 5 of the KVKK, which states that 'processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.' Additionally, your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or law enforcement agencies in the event of legal disputes or upon request in accordance with applicable regulations.

Article 20 of the Constitution states that everyone has the right to be informed about their personal data. Article 11 of the KVKK defines the rights of personal data owners under the law.

You may submit your requests regarding your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK in writing, in accordance with Article 5 of the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”.
